will receive sealed bids (NO FAXED OR EMAILED BIDS) for One (1) ADA-compliant door located at City Hall, 521 West Cedar Street, and One (1) Set of ADA-compliant doors located at 1616 Harshman Street in the City Clerk’s
Office at City Hall, PO Box 953, 521 West Cedar Street Rawlins, WY 82301, on

, at which time bids will be publicly opened. No bids will be considered which are received after the scheduled date and time. All bids will be on separate forms and in sealed envelopes clearly marked with the name of the project “ADA DOORS” in the lower left-hand corner.
A mandatory walk-through is scheduled for Thursday, April 20
th
, 2023, at 10am at Rawlins City Hall.
Bidding documents including but not limited to bid specifications are available from the City Clerk's Office at the address shown above, by calling 307-328-4500, or by downloading them from the Rawlins website at
www.rawlinswy.gov.
Bidders must use the City of Rawlins Bid Form. All questions should be addressed to Lou Lascano at 307-328-4599.
The “General Provisions”, “Bid Form”, “Invitation to Bid” and Wyoming Statute §15-1-113 are by reference made a part of the bidding documents and invitation to bid. The City of Rawlins reserves the right to accept deviations from the specifications and to waive any and all formalities or technicalities in the bidding in the sole discretion of the City. The City reserves the right to reject all bids or accept any bid, which in its sole and absolute judgment, shall under all circumstances, best serve the City's interests.
A bid guarantee is required pursuant to Wyoming State Statute §15-1-113(f); each bid must be accompanied by a bid guarantee, in the form as stated in the General Provisions, in the amount of 5% of the total amount of the bid, to be forfeited to the City as liquidated damages in the event the bidder, upon the letting of the contract to him, fails to enter into the contract within thirty (30) days after it is presented for that purpose or fails to proceed with the performance of the contract
. All bids must remain open for forty-five (45) days after the date of opening of the bids as the City may require that time period for acceptance of the winning bid.
Pursuant to W.S. §
16-6-106
preference is hereby given to materials, supplies, agricultural products, equipment machinery and provisions produced, manufactured, supplied or grown in Wyoming, quality being equal to articles offered by the competitors outside of the state.
