Sealed bids will be received for Slurry Seal City Streets in the office of the City Clerk until 2:00 PM, July 24, 2019 and read immediately thereafter in the Conference Room at City Hall, 101 N. 4th St., Douglas, Wyoming. Mail proposals to the City of Douglas, P.O. Box 1030, Douglas, WY 82633, or deliver to the City Clerk at 101 N. 4th Street.

Qualifications:
A certified check or Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid must accompany each bid. The City of Douglas will allow a 5% preference to Wyoming residents. Bidders will supply a Certificate of Residency in compliance with the Wyoming Department of Labor and Statistics.
Special Requirements:
Bids received after the time fixed for bid reception will not be considered. All bids must be clearly marked: “Slurry Seal City Streets FY2020” with the bidder’s name and the time and date of the opening on the outside of the envelope. The successful bidder will be required to adhere to the General Requirements and Covenants contained in the “Wyoming Public Works Standard Specifications”, 64883 Edition, to all Codes and Ordinances of the City of Douglas, and to the Agreement, General Provisions, Special Provisions, Specifications and Drawings contained or referenced in this Contract Document.

The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids; to waive informalities; and to accept the bid that is in the best interests of the City of Douglas.
