Request for Price Proposals – Surveying

Killdeer Diversion Project

The City of Green River, Wyoming is requesting price proposals from consulting firms with expertise in surveying services to provide professional engineering services for the Killdeer Diversion Project. The consulting firm selected will work directly with the Parks and Recreation and Public Works Departments.

The project is comprised of the study and design of a comprehensive solution for the Killdeer Wetlands and Dam, Intake, and River Drop Structure. This portion of the project requires a comprehensive survey of all aspects along with the river to allow vetting of all options and selection of a preferred action path by the steering committee and their Consultant leading to a final design and solution. The City hired a consultant to complete 10% design and a review of options. The survey work should verify datum collected by the consultant and complete an existing conditions survey.

The City of Green River will receive separate sealed price proposals at the Finance Office, Green River City Hall, 50 East 2nd North, Green River, WY 82935 until 3:00 PM local time on October 14, 2022. No faxed or e-mailed proposals will be accepted. No proposals will be accepted after that time and date.

Proposal should include: 1) A cost proposal 2) Relevant background information for your firm 3) Examples of previous projects of similar scope, firms should have experience working in major US waterways similar to the Green River. 4) Describe the method and equipment you will use to obtain survey data. 5) List the deliverables that will be turned over to the City of Green River to allow final design of the preferred alternative.

Two copies of the price proposal must be submitted in a sealed envelope bearing the project name “Killdeer Wetlands Diversion Surveying Services.” All submissions become the property of the City of Green River and are subject to the Freedom of Information and Privacy Legislation.

The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to accept any proposal, which in its judgment will best serve the City’s interests. The City reserves the right to waive any and all informalities in the submittal process, or within any Statement of Qualifications. The City may require up to forty-five (45) days after opening the proposals to award the work.
