NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SINGLE SOURCE CONTRACT, FA461323Q1027

The 90th Contracting Squadron at F.E. Warren AFB, WY, hereby gives notice of their intent to award a firm fixed price purchase order to DATA SECURITY, INC., on a single source basis utilizing FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The 90th Contracting Squadron has a requirement for a SSMD-2mm shred chamber to replace their damaged shred chamber. Data Security, Inc., can provide the shred chamber that aligns with National Security Agency (NSA)/Central Security Service (CSS) Policy Manual 9-12 Storage Device Sensitization and Destruction manual dated 4 December 2020. This Shred Chamber is under the NSA Evaluated Products List (EPL) Optical Destruction Devices, April 2023 and NSA EPL Solid State Disintegrators, April 2023. Devices included on EPL list have passed evaluation by meeting the requirements set by the NSA/CSS for the destruction of optical storage devices. This product is available from Data Solutions, Inc out of Lincoln, NE and it meets the NSA specifications.

NORTH AMERICAN INDUSTRY CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM (NAICS) CODE the intended procurement is classified under NAICS code 333310 with a Size Standard of 1,000 employees.

REGULATORY AUTHORITY The resultant contract will include all applicable provisions and clauses in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2023-04.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; a solicitation document will not be issued. All information received within seven days of the date of this notice with pricing and sufficient technical documentation to establish bona fide capability (i.e. unit price, list price, shipping and handling costs, the delivery period after contract award, the prompt payment discount terms, the F.O.B. Destination, the Dun & Bradstreet Number (DUNS), the Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN), and the certification of business size) to meet the requirement will be considered by the 90th Contracting Squadron.
